Community Insights

The Divine Liturgy is consistently described as beautiful, reverent, and a moving experience, with some finding it a profound worship opportunity.

The community is very welcoming, friendly, and family-friendly, with children fully embraced even if they are crying or kinetic during liturgy.

Father Frank Knusel, the Pastor, is noted for his wisdom, kindness, humility, and extensive knowledge of languages, which he uses to illuminate Gospel meanings.

The entire Liturgy is chanted a cappella by the priest and the people, often led by a husband and wife cantor team, and some prayers are repeated in Ukrainian.

After liturgy, all are welcome to enjoy food and drinks in the basement parish hall, and potluck occasions feature excellent Ukrainian food.
