Archdiocese of Baltimore
Explore 162 Catholic parishes, updated schedules, and livestream options across the diocese.
The Archdiocese of Baltimore, established in 1789 as the first Catholic diocese in the United States, serves central and western Maryland — including Baltimore City and surrounding counties from Carroll and Frederick out to Allegany and Garrett on the western frontier. Elevated to an archdiocese in 1808, it was home to the first American archbishop, John Carroll, and remains a spiritual anchor for the nation's oldest Catholic community across its approximately 159 parishes.
