Explore 209 Catholic parishes, updated schedules, and livestream options across the diocese.
The Diocese of Cleveland was erected in 1847, carved from the Diocese of Cincinnati, and originally covered 33 counties across northern Ohio before Toledo (1910) and Youngstown (1943) were split off. It now covers eight counties in northeastern Ohio, including Cuyahoga. Its cathedral, the Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist, was completed in 1852 and was the first of 16 cathedral commissions by architect Patrick Charles Keely. The diocese serves around 203 parishes.
