Diocese of Covington
Explore 55 Catholic parishes, updated schedules, and livestream options across the diocese.
Erected on July 29, 1853 from the Diocese of Louisville, Covington covers 14 counties in northern Kentucky along the Ohio River. Its cathedral, the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington, is a soaring Gothic structure whose cornerstone was laid in 1895 — one of the more architecturally striking churches in the region. When the Diocese of Lexington was split off in 1988, the diocese settled into its current footprint of roughly 54 parishes.
