Diocese of Fresno
Explore 135 Catholic parishes, updated schedules, and livestream options across the diocese.
The Diocese of Fresno was established in 1967 when Pope Paul VI split the Diocese of Monterey-Fresno into two separate dioceses. It covers eight counties across the southern San Joaquin Valley and the Sierra Nevada — Fresno, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, and Tulare — an area of over 35,000 square miles. St. John's Cathedral in Fresno, the diocesan seat since 1922, traces its parish roots to 1882. The diocese serves around 135 parishes.
