Diocese of Joliet
Explore 129 Catholic parishes, updated schedules, and livestream options across the diocese.
The Diocese of Joliet was established in 1948 when Pope Pius XII carved its territory from the Archdioceses of Chicago, Peoria, and Rockford. It spans seven Illinois counties — DuPage, Will, Kankakee, Grundy, Kendall, Ford, and Iroquois — with around 126 parishes. The Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus in Joliet serves as its seat, and the diocese is home to two national shrines: the National Shrine of Mary Immaculate in Lombard and the National Shrine of St. Thérèse in Darien.
