Diocese of Nashville
Explore 61 Catholic parishes, updated schedules, and livestream options across the diocese.
Established in 1837 from the Diocese of Bardstown, the Diocese of Nashville covers 38 counties across Middle Tennessee. Its seat is the Cathedral of the Incarnation, completed in 1914, a Romanesque landmark in the heart of Nashville. With around 61 parishes today, the diocese has come a long way from when its first bishop arrived in 1839 and found fewer than 300 Catholics — the cathedral itself served as a Union hospital during the Civil War.
