Explore 115 Catholic parishes, updated schedules, and livestream options across the diocese.
The Diocese of Paterson was established in 1937 when it was carved out of the Archdiocese of Newark, covering Passaic, Morris, and Sussex counties in northern New Jersey. Its 114 parishes are anchored by the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in the city of Paterson. The diocese is home to the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Highway in Little Falls, a roadside chapel long used by local Catholics traveling Route 46.
