Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia
Explore 53 Catholic parishes, updated schedules, and livestream options across the diocese.
The Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia traces its roots to 1885, when the first Ukrainian Catholic parish in the United States was founded in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. Erected as an ordinariate in 1913 and elevated to an archeparchy in 1958, it serves the Byzantine Rite tradition across the eastern United States. Its cathedral, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Philadelphia, was rebuilt in 1966 in Byzantine Revival style, with a gold-tiled dome inspired by the Hagia Sophia.
